Not Another Wargames Blog!

I know there are many of these blogs on the web, so why add another? Well, to start off, I suppose I'm like many wargamers; piles of unpainted figures all over the house, reference books scattered all over the living room and pots of paints covering the dining room table. Yet in another way, I'm probably not like many wargamers, in that I seldom play a game. Instead my real passion lies in collecting, researching and painting these little fellows. Really this blog is to share with you, dear reader, the highs and lows of this hobby and to present to you my poor efforts.

So where am I starting from?

Well, at the moment I am just completing six Queen's Rangers from Perry Miniature's American War of Independence Range. I also need to complete twelve Perry Wars of the Roses plastic figures, which I started just before Christmas. In the next few days I hope to receive some French Napoleonics, also from Perry. I will post pictures of the finished Queen's Rangers together with a brief description in the next few days.
